The ACI's Borg research and rescue facility in the Arucanis Arm. Commanded by Captain Three of Sixteen, the facility specialized in acquiring borg technology, liberating drones, and enhancing Starfleet vessels and personnel. The unique factor was the station's inactive Borg Cube . The cube was used to upgrade vessels, such as, the Antardis , Guardian, stukh-hali, and Vista . These vessels contained massive amounts of Borg modifications, some more than others. The Guardian and stukh-hali lacked the large system replacements of the Antardis and Vista, but maintained a more internal composition rather than exterior attachments.
On Stardate: 89214.85, Annette Peters sabotaged the station and stole valuable information and technology. The Nocturne Consortium then proceeded to attack, destroying nine starships and killing 3,867. The station was unrecoverable but the inactive cube was recovered by the ACI and moved to new location.
It was never discovered if Ms. Peters had any affiliation with the Consortium ...
